About

Christine Dewbre

Hi, I’m Christine.

I currently serve as the Executive Director for the Tennessee Senior Olympics.

While directing this organization for almost 30 years, I have been completely mesmerized by the health and fitness lifestyle transformations I have witnessed along the way from athletes aged 50 to 102!

The inspiration I walk away with every single year carries through to the next.

Before devoting my efforts to the TN Senior Olympics, I acted as Assistant Director of Recreational Sports at Texas Christian University.  In addition, I have been the fitness director at two athletic clubs, overseeing the fitness areas, staff, and personal trainers.

I hold a B.S degree in Exercise/Sports Science and a M.S. degree in Recreational Sports Administration, both from Indiana University.  I also currently serve on the National Senior Games Board of Directors.

A lifelong sports nut, I competed on school basketball, softball, and volleyball teams and ran track and cross country.  Collegiate intramural sports followed (flag football was my favorite!) and exercise has been a constant my entire life.  Today I am becoming addicted to pickleball like so many, and love sneaking in events at the Senior Olympics when I can.   At 60 years old, I am walking this path with all of you.

I also love the outdoors, serving at church and community events, but most importantly, I cherish family time with my husband, two daughters, and son-in-law.
